About the Artist

Morgan McCullin is a painter currently working with gouache on paper. Her paintings explore the toxicity and consequences of diet culture, beauty standards, societal, and familial oppression in the American south. She recently had her MFA exhibition titled Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss in the Mary Moffett Gallery at Louisiana Tech University and earned her mfa in fine art in may. McCullin has been published in Creative Quarterly 59 and was included in Femme Fest at the Jazz and Heritage Gallery in New Orleans, Louisiana. Morgan is currently teaching talented aRt for bienville parish school board and working as an adjunct professor in the department of visual and performing arts at grambling university.
