This class introduced students to materials, processes and techniques used in illustration, graphic design and fine art. Black/white and color media in drawing and painting techniques was explored. Professional illustrations require a high degree of technical skill, design ability, personal style and conceptual creativity. Illustration Materials and Techniques is an introductory course balancing an emphasis on concept and individual expression with the development of technical skills, rendering and design in a variety of media.
